Prepare for an unforgettable New Year's Eve experience as the Millbrook Rotary Club presents a celebration of fun for all. Set to unfold from 4 to 6 pm on December 31, 2023, in the heart of Millbrook, this event promises to usher in the new year with a blend of music, family activities, and the warm embrace of community spirit.
Musical Extravaganza:
The rhythm of the evening will be set by the soulful tunes of The Hammerhead Horns and Art Lillard's On Time Band. The Hammerhead Horns promise a blend of 'Barrelhouse, Blues & Boogie Woogie,' while Art Lillard's On Time Band draws influences from traditional swing, jazz, and contemporary popular music. Presented by the Millbrook Arts Group, their performances, with great ensemble playing and inspired soloing, will captivate audiences of all ages.
Family-Friendly Festivities:
The festivities will take place at the picturesque Lyall Community Church and Grace Church, providing a welcoming backdrop for the community gathering. Families are invited to partake in a special children's festival coordinated by Cecelia Collopy, featuring games, crafts, and more, as well as the memorable Hudson Valley Large Scale Railroad display. The Puppet People, Mark Carrigan and Michelle Smith-Carrigan, seasoned puppeteers with over 20 years of experience, will deliver a whimsical performance sure to enchant children and adults alike.
Exclusive Sticker Design Contest:
Adding an artistic touch to the celebration is the NYE Millbrook sticker design contest, showcasing the talent of Millbrook Central School District's art students. A carousel of design submissions were submitted, culminating in the upcoming announcement of the winning design that will adorn the exclusive NYE Millbrook stickers.

The event is made possible through the generous support of local businesses and friends, including Bank of Millbrook, Hunt & Harvest, Merritt Bookstore, The Fox and the Hare, JP Woods, Millbrook Yoga, Nan & David Greenwood, John & Ann Gifford, Claire & Chris Mann, Sonia Zurita & Lisa Pelosi, and more.
