New Year's Eve Millbrook!
Dec 31, 2024 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Millbrook Rings in 2025 with Music, Magic, and Community Fun

**Millbrook, NY—**Mark your calendars! On Tuesday, December 31, 2024, the Millbrook Rotary Club and Millbrook Arts Group invite you to their annual New Year’s Eve Millbrook celebration. From 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, gather with friends, family, and neighbors for an unforgettable evening of live performances, family fun, and community spirit at Lyall Community Church and Grace Church.

This year’s celebration features an exciting lineup of performers and activities:

  • The Larry Ham Quartet: A masterful jazz performance featuring Larry Ham on piano, Dan Block on saxophones, Lee Hudson on bass, and Tom Melito on drums. Their timeless sound will captivate jazz enthusiasts and newcomers alike.

  • Philippe Treuille: An acclaimed composer whose work has been performed at renowned venues like Lincoln Center, offering a captivating classical music experience.

  • After Five: Celebrate New Year's Eve with this vibrant jazz combo led by saxophonist Jason Clinton. With an eclectic repertoire spanning jazz, swing, Latin, blues, Motown, pop rock, and holiday favorites, their lively sound features Kate Weston’s captivating vocals, Jason Clinton’s expressive saxophone, Steve Raleigh’s versatile guitar playing, Josh Clinton’s rich piano harmonies, Chris Macchia’s steady bass lines, and Dan Paladino’s dynamic drumming.

  • Grumbling Gryphons Theater: Performing "Trickster Coyote: How Coyote Brought Fire to the Plains Indians!" — a tale from their production Trickster Tales: Native American Animal Legends. The Grumbling Gryphons, winner of the CT Governor's Arts Award, have toured internationally for nearly 45 years, captivating audiences with stories rooted in myths, legends, and environmental themes. Children will take part in the performance by singing, dancing, chanting, and playing a role in the play as it unfolds.

  • Family-Friendly Activities: Enjoy face painting, a talented balloon twister, and The Bubble Bus for bubbly fun that will delight all ages.

  • Delicious Refreshments: Provided by the VFW and other local favorites, including Crepes Royale, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
